Five Affordable outfits for teens in the workplace

You are new at working or have never worked. You might feel lost on what to wear and what they expect you to wear. 

More than 6,700 Baltimore teens are entering the workplace through Youthworks, the city’s summer job program for those from the ages 14 to 21. For some it’s their first job ever. It can be hard to figure out appropriate work attire. I interviewed Caroline Bandlin, 18 and Talya Chan, 18 and asked them “What's your go to style for work?”

“It's usually snappy casual and I wear modest sundress sandals and some bright colors,” Bandlin said. “ I usually bring out my own personality.” 

“I usually wear some kind of button up shirt and some work pants,” Chan said.
