Prompts to Inspire your thinking:

What is a time you or someone in your life stood up for something they believed in? Or, describe a time you wished you had taken a stand?
What is an issue you want to take a stand for regarding racial justice?
Select a historical figure and write a message, poem, essay, thank-you letter, or other piece of writing to them, honoring their achievements and impact.

Genre: Students are invited to submit poetry, short stories, or mini-essays.

Word Count: 300 words or less
