CHARM: Rewind

This collection features writing and artwork from 67 young Baltimoreans over the past decade. Youth editor, Kameran, writes: “The pieces in this volume aren’t just words on paper. They are stories from personal experiences…and the people who share their stories grow together.”

The CHARM Report: Our Voices Our Stories

The debut publication from CHARM’s journalism team, editors of The CHARM Report curated ten of their favorite articles since the journalism team’s beginning in 2021.

CHARM: Enchanted

CHARM: Enchanted is the spring 2024 publication from our citywide Student Editorial Board. It features 31 writing and art pieces from students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade, who attend 11 schools.

From favorite characters to incredible places, each art piece and written piece illustrates their views about the world, indicating that people can find enchantment in almost anything.

CHARM: Chaos

CHARM: Chaos is the spring 2023 anthology published by CHARM’s student editorial board, all about chaos!

HOMEGROWN: A MESSAGE TO BALTIMORE BY BALTIMORE

Homegrown is a collection of writing and artwork by Baltimore creators for Baltimore youth, reclaiming our city’s narrative and answering the question, “Where did you find the beauty in Baltimore?” 

This anthology includes writing from 17 Baltimore-based creators and leaders, including D. Watkins, Erica L. Green, Slangston Hughes, Brittany Young, Kyle Pompey, and more.

YOUTH VOICES MATTER MUG

This custom mug was designed in celebration of CHARM’s 10 birthday. “Youth Voices Matter” has guided our work since our very first publication.

CHARM: LOVE

Our most recent publication, CHARM: Love features the writing and artwork of 20 young people in Baltimore.

Our 14th anthology highlighting writing and artwork from Baltimore’s young people. Editor Denim Fisher writes in the anthology’s foreword: “Love can be dedicated to anything: love of self, love of friend, love of a favorite hobby, love of life.”

A Collection of Writing and Artwork by Baltimore Youth during the Coronavirus Pandemic

Our Voices, Unmasked is our first hardcover publication, published in summer 2021. Our editors describe the collection as a time capsule of the coronavirus pandemic, documenting what it was like to be a young person in Baltimore during this time.

CHARM: Culture

CHARM: Culture is an anthology released in spring 2021. Our youth editors write:

“Culture can sometimes separate us, but more often, it can bring us together. It helps individuals form a sense of identity and helps create a sense of family with people we may not even know. This year has been a hard time of separation from loved ones, but culture remains steadfast.”

CHARM: Filters

CHARM: Filters was released in February 2020. It features writing and artwork by 60 students in Baltimore, all addressing the theme of Filters: How do you see the world? How does the world see you?

It’s full of inspiration to get your own creative juices flowing.

CHARM: For Your Inspiration

CHARM: For Your Inspiration is an anthology of student writing inspired by famous writers (think, Langston Hughes, Nikki Giovanni, and Sandra Cisneros). We think it will inspire you, too.

CHARM Poetry Pack

A starter kit of sorts for a poetry lover. This pack includes:
