School Literary Magazines

CHARM supports a staff person from your school to plan and lead weekly meetings with a student editorial board of 10-25 students. Together, they create a literary magazine for your school community. 


Your CHARM student editorial board: 

  • Determines the name and theme of the magazine 

  • Comes up with writing prompts to inspire their peers 

  • Publicizes the call for submissions school-wide students and teachers

  • Works with a professional graphic designer to format the magazine

  • Hosts a publication launch party and reading to celebrate their work 

 
 

This program is at the intersection of academic enrichment and socio-emotional learning for middle and high school students.
