In honor of spring, this class is all about growing up, experiencing change, and putting it into words. We will get inspired by iconic coming-of-age works—from poetry to graphic novels to personal essays—and explore the pivot points in our own lives and imaginations.

Students will:
• Play interactive writing games and activities that spark creativity and build confidence as writers
• Explore different forms of coming-of-age writing and turn their own ideas into completed pieces
• Practice drafting, editing, and giving and receiving constructive feedback to strengthen their work
• Meet special guests, make new friends, and have fun in a supportive, creative community
